Birmingham’s latest city-living concept, Allegro, has officially opened. Set within Nikal’s Exchange Square development, Allegro is the city’s newest and largest built-to-rent scheme, providing a new rental experience for the city with 603 homes and a dedicated communal space for residents, complete with wellness centre, private courtyard garden and resident’s hub.
Allegro is managed by Savills, on behalf of landlord LaSalle. The second phase of the scheme will open in October 2019.
Allegro offers a unique opportunity to rent in the heart of the city, and is designed to take lifestyle living to the next level. A dedicated amenity and communal space for residents opens in April and will offer a range of services designed to meet the needs of residents, including The Lounge – a comfortable, communal space offering free Wi-Fi, refreshments and regular community events – as well as a free, high-spec wellness centre, car parking and tranquil gardens.
Residents will also have access to a specialist app, allowing them to book a range of services at the touch of a button from dog walking to cleaning to beauty treatments. For anything that cannot be resolved via the app, an onsite resident services team will be available 24/7.

Allegro occupies the first of two planned phases at Exchange Square, the latest element within developer Nikal’s £350 million Masshouse Masterplan.
