Nikal Group co-founder and MD, Nick Payne, has been invited to contribute to an expert panel discussing the opportunities and challenges facing the residential property market in the North West.
The panel forms part of a double breakfast forum organised by property networking event specialists Movers & Shakers and will be held on 5th October at Radisson Blu Edwardian Hotel (7am to 10.30am).
The first session focuses on ‘Homes & Communities’ and Nick will be representing Nikal’s luxury homebuilder brand, Hillcrest Homes, to provide his expert and experienced opinion on the importance of creating great places to live, not just ‘box ticking’ to meet Government targets for new homes.
Themes include ‘how quality housing can inspire and build communities’, ‘what mix of homes/tenures is required’, ‘whether collaboration and partnerships are the way forward’ and ‘modular homes – where and how do they fit?’.
Nick’s co-panellists include Eamonn Boylan (Chief Executive of Greater Manchester Combined Authority), Helen Gordon (Chief Executive at Grainger PLC), Tom Bloxham MBE (Chairman at Urban Splash), Larry Gold (Deputy CEO, Operations and CFO at Trafford Housing Trust).
A second session with new expert speakers will focus on Commercial Development & Investment and will reveal key trends and statistics for the North West market followed by a discussion on opportunities and challenges within the commercial property market, what the region needs to do to compete in an increasingly competitive marketplace and what it needs to do to drive continued inward investment.
